HOLIDATE Computer Dating Service is a doorway program for BBS's. It is easy to install and use, and has a rather sophisticated and successfully tested method of selecting partners from its database.
FEATURES: Self-extracting file, Installation utility, for ease of installation, online help for users, capability of holding more than 60,000 users in the database. Also, with In/Output from BOTH modem and local computer, the program can be observed by the Sysop while a User is online, and the Sysop can help if necessary. Modem in/out routines are water-tight, and allow for unusual telecom situations such as lost carrier, remote hangup, line noise, and User falling asleep or forgetting that he/she's on line. Color ANSI displays make for a great looking User Interface. But the best part is the Computer Matchmaker, which performs accurately and elegantly. Personalities are matched with precision, and multiple candidates may be returned if desired. User's security is protected by the use of BBS Handles. No other information which might lead to the discovery of any User's address, phone number, etc. is available. E-mail through the BBS is the only possible form of contact. A full range of Sysop utilities for the program is also available.
